How to edit or complete notifications

When receiving a notification on e.g. a contract, you can mark it as completed (and thus stop any reminders), or you can postpone the sending of notifications.

How to postpone notifications

  1. Open the related person/asset/contract card in editing mode.
    Tip: The easiest way to do so, is to click on the link in the event list, in the list below the bell in the top menu or by clicking the link in the email.

  2. You can now postpone reminders by selecting another date from the list.

  3. Save your changes.

New reminders will now be sent out at the selected date.

How to finish/complete notifications

  1. Open the related person/asset/contract card in editing mode.
    Tip: The easiest way to do so, is to click on the link in the event list, in the list below the bell in the top menu or by clicking the link in the email.

  2. Is there a checklist linked to this notification? Ensure to check off every check point. Once this is done, you will get a green progress bar.

  3. Click Complete next to the event.

This specific event is now completed. For recurring events such as birthdays, new reminders are sent out when the next interval starts (e.g. 1 week before next year's birthday).

Tip!
With the optional module Advanced Notifications, system administrators can change events and notifications for all users by changing the event schedule directly. Only the trigger date cannot be changed. Read also Event setup .
